Ryan Mackin is an independent hip-hop artist, storyteller, and the founder of Back2Jax Productions. Born in Westerly, Rhode Island and now based in Florida, his journey is defined by resilience, self-belief, and an unshakable commitment to authenticity.

After being removed from his mother’s care at age nine and enduring years of instability, he found creative refuge in poetry and lyrics. What began as a survival mechanism grew into a voice powerful enough to inspire others facing their own storms.

His return to music is more than a comeback—it’s the start of his second act. Ryan refuses to be boxed in, blending hip-hop with soul, grit with vulnerability, and ambition with real human stories. Every verse carries a piece of his truth, especially in tracks like “It’s Possible,” released in December 2024—a declaration that even the broken can rise.
